Privacy Policy

This information notice describes the methods of managing the website beactiveliguria.it, with reference to the processing of the personal data of identified or identifiable users who consult it and who interact with it and with the web services accessible electronically. The information notice is provided in accordance with Italian Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 (Code in relation to personal data protection) and is based upon Recommendation no. 2/2001 relating to the minimum requirements for the collection of personal data online in the European Union, adopted on 17 May 2001 by the Group established by Art. 29 of Directive no. 95/46/EC. In particular, this information notice is intended to provide information relating to the methods, timescales and nature of the information that the processing controllers must provide to users when they connect to the web pages, irrespective of the purposes of that connection. The information notice is provided only for the website beactiveliguria.it and not for other external websites that may be consulted by users via links.

Processing Controller

As a result of consulting this website, data may be processed relating to identified or identifiable persons. The rights of the interested party are those expressly indicated in Article 7 of the "Privacy Code" and they may be exercised with a request sent without formalities, even by way of recorded delivery letter, fax or e-mail (Art. 9 of the Code) to the controller or manager. The data processing controller is the Director of the "In Liguria" Agency, Via D'Annunzio 2/78, 19th Floor, 16121, Genoa, Tel. 010-530821, Fax 010-5958507, Email: info@agenziainliguria.it.

Location of Data Processing

The processing connected to the web services of this website takes place at the Agency in Liguria. No data deriving from the web service is communicated or disseminated, except in cases expressly provided by law. The personal data provided by users is used for the sole purpose of supplying the service or performance requested and is communicated to third parties only where this is necessary for that purpose.

Type of Data Processed

Browsing Data
The computer systems and software processes used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols. This is information that is not collected to be associated with identified interested parties but that, by its very nature, may, by way of processing and association with data held by third parties, allow for users to be identified. This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of the computer used by users who connect to the website, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used in submitting the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc…..) and other parameters relating to the operating system and computer environment of the user. This data may be used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on use of the website and for checking its correct functioning. The data may be used to ascertain liability in the event of hypothetical computer crimes in detriment to the website.

Data provided voluntarily by users
Aside from what is specified for browsing data, users are free to provide personal data for the services detailed below:

  • use of the Newsletter service involves the necessary acquisition of the e-mail address of the user, necessary for requests to provide the service.
  • use of the ‘Request information’ service from an accommodation facility does not involve the storage in the website database of any data entered in the request, excluding the e-mail address of the user who made the request. This data may be communicated to Trade Associations and to tourism industry operators for promotional reasons.

Cookies

No personal data of users is acquired by the website in that regard. No use of cookies is made for information of a personal nature; persistent cookies of any nature or systems for tracking or profiling users are not used. The website only uses “technical cookies”.

Technical cookies are those used for the sole purpose of "making the transmission of a communication on an electronic communication network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of a service of the information society explicitly requested by the member or user to provide that service" (c.f. Art. 122, Paragraph 1 of the Code).

They are not used for other purposes and are installed directly by the owner or manager of the website. They may be subdivided into browsing or session cookies, which guarantee normal browsing and use of the website (allowing, for example, users to log in so as to access reserved areas); cookie analytics, assimilated to technical cookies where used directly by the manager of the website to collect information, in aggregated form, on the number of users and on how these visit the website itself; function cookies, which allow users to browse based upon a series of selected criteria (for example, language) in order to improve the service provided to the same. For the installation of those cookies, the prior consent of the users is not required, while the obligation to provide the information in accordance with Art. 13 of the Code remains in place. The use of session cookies (which are not stored in a persistent manner on the user's computer and disappear upon closing the browser) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers required to allow for safe and efficient exploration of the website. Thesession cookies used on this website avoid the use of other computer techniques potentially prejudicial to browsing confidentiality by users and do not allow for the acquisition of personal identification data of the user.

Third Party Technologies and Cookies

This website uses the external web analysis service provided by Google Analytics, which uses Javascript technology to allow the website to analyse how users use the website. Google Analytics mainly uses proprietary cookies to generate reports on the interactions of visitors with the websites. These cookies are used to store information that does not allow for the personal identification of users. Agenzia in Liguria is extraneous to the operations of “third party cookies”, whose functioning falls under the liability of those third parties. The information generated on use of the website by users (including their IP addresses) is sent and stored on the servers of Google Analytics. Google Analytics will use this information with the aim of tracking and examining use of the website, to compile reports on the website activities for operators of the website and to provide other services relating to the website activities and use of the Internet. Google Analytics can also transfer this information to third parties where this is required by law or where those third parties process the aforementioned information on behalf of Google Analytics. You can find the respective Privacy Policy at the address: https://support/google.com/analytics

Management of Cookies: Consent to Respective Use

Deleting cookies does not prevent use of the website beactiveliguria.it

Users/visitors may set the computer browser in such a way as to accept/refuse all cookies or to display a notice each time a cookie is proposed, to be able to assess whether or not to accept it.

There are, for that purpose, components (plug-ins) for the most popular browsers that allow for:

  • the management (display, deletion, block) of cookies
  • the disabling of Javascript pages of third parties
  • the display of technologies used by the website
  • the display and block (selective) of different tracking mechanisms

By default, almost all web browsers are set to accept cookies automatically. You can, however, change the set configuration, which, with browsers (such as, for example Internet Explorer version 6.0) is the medium one, and you can disable cookies (i.e. block them), setting, in the appropriate section (“Privacy”), the highest level of protection (Very High), but we inform you that disabling them may compromise use of the website functions.

In any case, you have the possibility to delete (or remove) cookies from your personal computer, using the special function present on your browser. Deleting cookies does not prevent use of the website, but involves the repetition of the authentication procedure, or the re-entry of your access credentials.

If you want to decide each time whether or not to accept cookies, you can also configure your browser so that it generates a notice each time a cookie is saved.

In addition, there are components (plug-ins) for the most popular browsers that allow for:

  • the management (display, deletion, block) of cookies
  • the disabling of Javascript pages of third parties
  • the display of technologies used by the website
  • the display and block (selective) of different tracking mechanisms
