Type of Data Processed
Browsing Data
The computer systems and software processes used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols. This is information that is not collected to be associated with identified interested parties but that, by its very nature, may, by way of processing and association with data held by third parties, allow for users to be identified. This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of the computer used by users who connect to the website, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used in submitting the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc…..) and other parameters relating to the operating system and computer environment of the user. This data may be used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on use of the website and for checking its correct functioning. The data may be used to ascertain liability in the event of hypothetical computer crimes in detriment to the website.
Data provided voluntarily by users
Aside from what is specified for browsing data, users are free to provide personal data for the services detailed below:
- use of the Newsletter service involves the necessary acquisition of the e-mail address of the user, necessary for requests to provide the service.
- use of the ‘Request information’ service from an accommodation facility does not involve the storage in the website database of any data entered in the request, excluding the e-mail address of the user who made the request. This data may be communicated to Trade Associations and to tourism industry operators for promotional reasons.
Cookies
No personal data of users is acquired by the website in that regard. No use of cookies is made for information of a personal nature; persistent cookies of any nature or systems for tracking or profiling users are not used. The website only uses “technical cookies”.
Technical cookies are those used for the sole purpose of "making the transmission of a communication on an electronic communication network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of a service of the information society explicitly requested by the member or user to provide that service" (c.f. Art. 122, Paragraph 1 of the Code).
They are not used for other purposes and are installed directly by the owner or manager of the website. They may be subdivided into browsing or session cookies, which guarantee normal browsing and use of the website (allowing, for example, users to log in so as to access reserved areas); cookie analytics, assimilated to technical cookies where used directly by the manager of the website to collect information, in aggregated form, on the number of users and on how these visit the website itself; function cookies, which allow users to browse based upon a series of selected criteria (for example, language) in order to improve the service provided to the same. For the installation of those cookies, the prior consent of the users is not required, while the obligation to provide the information in accordance with Art. 13 of the Code remains in place. The use of session cookies (which are not stored in a persistent manner on the user's computer and disappear upon closing the browser) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers required to allow for safe and efficient exploration of the website. Thesession cookies used on this website avoid the use of other computer techniques potentially prejudicial to browsing confidentiality by users and do not allow for the acquisition of personal identification data of the user.

Management of Cookies: Consent to Respective Use
Deleting cookies does not prevent use of the website beactiveliguria.it
Users/visitors may set the computer browser in such a way as to accept/refuse all cookies or to display a notice each time a cookie is proposed, to be able to assess whether or not to accept it.
There are, for that purpose, components (plug-ins) for the most popular browsers that allow for:
- the management (display, deletion, block) of cookies
- the disabling of Javascript pages of third parties
- the display of technologies used by the website
- the display and block (selective) of different tracking mechanisms
By default, almost all web browsers are set to accept cookies automatically. You can, however, change the set configuration, which, with browsers (such as, for example Internet Explorer version 6.0) is the medium one, and you can disable cookies (i.e. block them), setting, in the appropriate section (“Privacy”), the highest level of protection (Very High), but we inform you that disabling them may compromise use of the website functions.
In any case, you have the possibility to delete (or remove) cookies from your personal computer, using the special function present on your browser. Deleting cookies does not prevent use of the website, but involves the repetition of the authentication procedure, or the re-entry of your access credentials.
If you want to decide each time whether or not to accept cookies, you can also configure your browser so that it generates a notice each time a cookie is saved.
In addition, there are components (plug-ins) for the most popular browsers that allow for:
- the management (display, deletion, block) of cookies
- the disabling of Javascript pages of third parties
- the display of technologies used by the website
